phi®FLEX TC9 Affordable Audiophile Loudspeaker System The phi®FLEX TC9 is a 3.5" fullrange driver in a standard ported enclosure. What makes it different is the slot port, the driver and the solid purpleheart and bamboo combination we use to construct the enclosure. What results from this uncomplicated friendship is a tiny 192mm x 192mm x 515mm tapered box which sings. It's hard to describe it in any other way. Specifically developed to offer an entry into the world of fullrange reproduction, for listeners with limited funds and/or small listening rooms. Considering its somewhat modest output (it uses a 50W 3.5" driver, after all) it's a hard act to beat, outperforming all but the best bookshelf loudspeakers. TECHNICAL DETAILS There's little to add to what was said above. The phi®FLEX TC9 is a single-cone (no whizzer) fullrange driver in a reflex enclosure, tuned for flat response to 50Hz. -3dB occurs at 49Hz Outperforms most Hi-fi offerings at a fraction of the price. |
