The ΦcD Class-D power amplifier

The PHIcD is a power amplifier based on the Hypex UcD180 Class D amplifier module. It's rated at 105 Watt per channel into 8 Ohms or 180 Watt per channel into 4 Ohms. The performance is exceptional as can be seen in any review of these amplifier modules, combining the less fatiguing sound of valve amplifiers with the power and control of solid state devices.

It is constructed in a similar style to the hexTONE filter sold with the Cyclops loudspeaker set but the face has no knobs or indicators.
