The phISH is PHI's interpretation of a dynamic and engaging loudspeaker for all kinds of music. Specifically designed to cater for those with contemporary tastes in music, its smooth and rich delivery will appeal to all music lovers. It's much smaller than all of our offerings, with a tiny 15cm x 20cm foot print. It nevertheless reproduces even the loudest styles of music without the least sign of stress.

The phISH – Technical details

The phISH is a standard Tapered Quarter Wave Pipe, optimised for dynamic and lively reproduction of all music types. Each loudspeaker comprises two forward-firing dual-cone fullrange drivers, augmented with a superb silk dome supertweeter on the front baffle and a third dual-cone driver on the rear of the loudspeaker. This revolutionary arrangement provided a sense of space around the loudspeakers that has hitherto only been possible with omni-directional loudspeakers and bipolar loudspeakers like our own Cyclops. Conservatively rated at 100W RMS per loudspeaker, these deceptively small units play loud enough for a house party, but will mollify even the most critical music lover with their clean and attractively unassuming sound.

The phISH sells at a retail price of R6 968.00 (about $875) per Okoume plywood pair. The prices for speakers made in other wood types will be made available on request.
